This scholarship aims to support students who have demonstrated resilience in the face of financial hardship or other significant obstacles.
Eligibility:
- Current US high school seniors, or
- Students currently enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college in the United States
- Demonstrated financial need or history of overcoming significant obstacles
Award: $500 (one-time)

Essay Prompt:
In 500 words or less, describe a significant financial hardship or obstacle you have faced and overcome. How has this experience shaped your educational journey and future goals? Discuss specific strategies or resources you utilized to navigate this challenge and how you plan to apply these lessons to your college experience and beyond.
Your essay should demonstrate:
- Clear and concise writing
- Specific examples of challenges faced and overcome
- Reflection on personal growth and lessons learned
- Connection between past experiences and future aspirations
The scholarship committee will evaluate applications based on the quality of the essay and demonstrated resilience in the face of adversity.
